A Thankful Week:

Tomorrow we will be enjoying our Thanksgiving celebration after lunch with a craft and game with the support of some parents. Thank you in advance for all your help in coordinating this event and helping out in the classroom.

As many parents work, we could use some extra hands with the other holiday parties coming up. If anyone else is interested in helping for our other holiday celebrations, please email me or write me a note. I also sent home a letter form this week which you can return as well.

We are in desparate need ot tissues to help with our sneezes and sniffles. Please send any boxes of tissues that you can spare. It would be greatly appreciated!

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving Weekend!!

Exciting News is here!  Per Mrs.Manna the building is rodent free.  Which means starting Wednesday, we will begin to have snack in the classrooms once again.  A notice about facilities was written today, but unfortunatley, I did't get my copies in time to give to the kids before they packed up. It is now in their mailbox to go home on Wednesday.

No school tomorrow to celebrate Veteran's Day.  If you see a Veteran tomorrow, please be sure to thank them in honor of their special day.  See everyone on Wednesday.

In Honor....Remembering our Veterans,  Monday 10/10:

We will have an all-school assembly on the blacktop (as weather prevails). Please remember to have your kids wear  RED, white and BLUE!

Our class could also use some donations: if possible, please send a box of tissues for our sniffles.

Friday's News:

Yesterday's Storybook Parade was a success! Our class enjoyed making their haunted house or monster craft bags while they took turns getting into their awesome costumes.  Fun was had by all as the school danced together to the bouncy monster-ish music out on the blacktop. Thanks to all the parents who participated in this event!

I hope everyone had a fun and safe time trick-or-treating!!!!

Monday notices:  Please be on the look out....

Please help support our classroom library and your home library.  I just signed up for the Scholastic Book Club! A letter explaining the Book Club is in your child's mailbox and will come home Monday night. Basically, if you purchase books from Scholastic using my teacher/class code, you can increase your child's book choices for home reading and I can earn points to get books for our classroom library so that the kids will have even more books to read in class as well.  Books can be chosen according to reading levels which which make it easy for you to help make sure your child has "Just Right" books.  Since the holidays are coming up, this may be a good time to start some holiday shopping and support your child with some fun new books for reading at home.

Also, I'm sending home a new permission slip for our Bartlett Arboretum field trip. The rescheduled date is Friday, November 21st.  Please return signed forms by this Friday, Nov. 7th.

Enjoy your weekend!!!
